It provides a structured, step‑by‑step approach to understanding SharePoint concepts, site management, customization, security, and workflows, making it ideal for freshers, administrators, and IT professionals starting their SharePoint journey.
The course starts with essential infrastructure prerequisites, including IIS fundamentals, HTTPS concepts, and Active Directory users and groups. You will then move on to SharePoint 2013 installation, creating web applications, site collections, and understanding site structure.
You will learn how to customize SharePoint sites, work with subsites, site templates, lists, libraries, views, metadata navigation, site columns, and content types. The course also covers document management features such as approval, versioning, check‑in/check‑out, document templates, document policies, and synchronization.
A significant part of the course focuses on branding and UI customization, including master pages, page layouts, custom CSS, themes, design packages, device channels, and JavaScript usage in master pages. You will also work with SharePoint Designer to enhance site customization.
