This Lecture will take you step by step through opening Microsoft PowerPoint for the first time, we will look at where to find Microsoft PowerPoint and any shortcuts that are available.
This lecture will look at Microsoft PowerPoint in more detail, we will take a guided tour of the window and learn about each of the different sections, this will ensure that all students have a good knowledge of all the different sections of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Microsoft PowerPoint contains a number of pre-built templates that users can use to create their own presentation, these template can be used as a basis to allow the student to enter their own content, the template will include, fonts, colours, styles and much more.
In this lecture we will look at the type of content that we can add to a presentation, We will look at the main types of slides that we can add and we will also add a slide with a title.
This lecture will focus on saving a file for the first time in Microsoft PowerPoint, we will look at the method of saving. We will talk about the different places that the presentation can be saved.
This lecture will focus on the different types of slides that can be added to a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, Each slide type has a different layout that will allow you to enter a different type of content. Some of the layouts are, Title, Title and content, title and two content, blank etc.
This lecture looks at slide layouts and the ability to change the layout of a slide, after it has been entered into the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
The Title and content slide will be the one that you will use 90% of the time, so we will look at it in more detail, the things we learn in this lecture will allow us to use the other slide types.

Tables are a great way to display data in a presentation. In this lecture we will look at tables and all the different ways that they can be entered in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Charts are another great way of displaying data in Microsoft PowerPoint. in this lecture we will focus on charts and look at all the different elements of them.
Design Themes can be used to give your presentation a whole new look. the incorporate different colours, styles and fonts.
Headers and footers can be added to your presentation to include information such as, Name, date and slide numbers. in this lecture we will look at the different options.
The slide master can be used to alter the slide layout. In this section we look at the options that are available to us.
Transitions can be added to slides to ensure that the presentation runs as smoothly as possible, in this section we will look at adding transitions and also the ways that we can test them to see if they are achieving the results that we want.
Animations are what really make a good presentation into a great presentation. in this section we will look at what animations are and we will also look at the different options that we can use and complete a slide with a number of animations on it.
When Delivering your presentation, you don't want to be relying on memory only, by adding notes to your slides, it will give you the information you need to deliver the presentation in the way that it deserves.
Your Main output for a presentation will be on the screen, but there is a time when you will need printed notes, both for your and for the audience. In this lecture we will look at the different printing options available.
